Alexa Grand was raised in San Antonio, TX. After high school, she moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, with a biochemistry focus. She was a member of Arkansas’ Division I Track and Field program and earned several SEC scholar athlete awards. During her undergraduate studies, she shadowed at Hull Dermatology and found a true vocation for dermatology. She became interested in the complexities of dermatology and felt she could make a positive impact in the field. Several of her family members, as well as herself, have been affected by various dermatologic conditions, solidifying her interest in the field.

After graduating from Arkansas, she attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated as a member of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society, which recognizes achievement in scholarship, service, and leadership. After graduating from PA school, Alexa joined a dermatology clinic in Lubbock, TX and practiced medical and cosmetic dermatology. She has been awarded Diplomate status by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants due to her knowledge and training in dermatology.

Alexa is excited to relocate back to Northwest Arkansas and feels blessed to be able to work at Hull Dermatology, where her passion for dermatology began. She feels honored to serve the people of the Northwest Arkansas community and beyond. Alexa is married to her husband, Rob. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, watching sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
