Clinical Trials

Northwest Arkansas Clinical Trials Center is the portion of our practice dedicated to research. Click here to access this web site. We are committed to the superior care of our patients and recognize the importance of research in order to learn about new ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat dermatologic diseases and conditions. Though dermatologists have a number of medications to treat various skin conditions, there are still new medications and treatments that are being investigated that can help advance the field of dermatology. Clinical trials provide patients with the opportunity to participate in studies of the newest medications that are being evaluated as potential therapies.

When you volunteer to take part in these studies, you are compensated for your time and your participation—it comes at no cost to you, and for those who cannot afford it, it acts as free healthcare for any qualifying skin problem you might have. Each study is paid for by the drug company, and you are paid to partake in the clinical research.

Currently, we have several clinical trials that are available for participants (both adult and pediatric). These studies include a variety of dermatological conditions such as rosacea, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis, with studies for additional conditions being continually added. Study participants are not required to have insurance or to be a patient of Dr. Hull in order to be included in one of our studies.
