Dr. Lauren McCaslin is an Arkansas native. She was born and raised in Jonesboro, Arkansas before going on to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.
She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she graduated number one in her class. She was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society along with receiving numerous accolades, including the Barton Foundation Scholarship and the Roberts Key Award for having the highest grade point average during her four years of medical school. She stayed at UAMS to complete her internship in Internal Medicine and her residency in Dermatology.

During her residency, she was involved in research and was awarded the outstanding resident research presentation at the Southern Dermatology Consortium. She also presented annually at the American Academy of Dermatology meetings. She served as chief resident in her final year.

Dr. McCaslin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Founding Member of the American Board of Medical Specialties, and is certified in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery

Outside of dermatology, Dr. McCaslin enjoys spending time with her husband and her golden doodle, Magnolia. She loves adventure, travel, cheering on the Hogs, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to being back in Northwest Arkansas and serving the community. She practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
